I left horrible, politically backward Texas ten years ago for Tennessee, which has an equally horrible and racist legislature. The efforts of the Tennessee Three to shine a spotlight on the corruption and ignorance of the GOP/MAGA members of our state legislature provided a welcome and necessary examination of our state's Republican leadership. Turnout is EVERYTHING this year for Tennessee. Sen. Martha Blackburn is just another stop on the way to the bottom for us.

Several of my neighbors have children attending Covenant, and the entire neighborhood — Red and Blue — have been fiercely anti-gun since the Covenant tragedy. It’s time for the whole state to wake the fuck up and fucking VOTE to defeat all of the GOP motherfuckers who will otherwise only make our lives worse.

I've been a fan of hers since that ruckus went on and am still donating to her campaign monthly.

I have loathed Blackburn for what fels like forever.

As long as she hammers on Dobbs all day every day she will win. If she prevaricates or tries to have it both ways she will lose.

I just donated. I encourage you all to click that video she put up on her act blue acct. Beautiful music it made cry. Tennessee you can do this.

Gloria is good people. As one of the mostly nonawful men in Tennessee, I am voting for her.

Donated, since I cannot vote in that State, let's go 💙!!!

Tennessee electing a bag of flaming dogshit would be an UPGRADE from Marsha Blackburn.

The state would be so lucky to have someone like Gloria representing them instead.

I think - am allowing myself to believe - that this year might be a turning point for a whole lot of things. Humanity is evolving - what, did you think we were done? - and that scares the piss right out of anyone who had been at the top of the heap, and/or fancied they were gonna get there Any Day Now.

"...because on top of the extremism, she’s kind of a dipshit."

"Kind" of a dipshit? When it comes to dips, Blackburn is the entire fecal pile. Calling her a Home Ec major is an insult to people who actually do have degrees in being a housewife; Blackburn is more of a sentient hairdo. And only a marginally sentient one at that. To compare her to John Kennedy's dumb hick schtick is unfair to Kennedy, we all know that's an act, but Blackburn really is as fucking stupid as she seems. She's more like Ron Johnson with lipstick. Hope ya do better, Tennessee.

Do donation rules require my street address? I wish there was a way to give money that wont get spent on glossy mailers, plenty of which are clogging my mailbox already. I mean, they want to send mail to people in Tennessee (or Arizona), that's one thing. There's a way to turn off texts (after I get one), but snail mail appears an unstoppable pure waste of my small-dollar put-in.

ActBlue.com

It’s been so long since I signed up, but I imagine you’ll need an address that agrees with your credit card billing address. Other than that it’s all by email.

It's not Act Blue, it's both of the candidates' sites linked in the OP. I'm trying to use PayPal, same as for Wonkette.

Trae Crowder (The Redneck Liberal) is from Tennessee. He's a good'un, but I think he's living in California now.

I really hope and pray that she wins. Every Dem needs to campaign on this issue. It’s that important to 70% of the COUNTRY! Let’s hammer women’s reproductive rights home.

Whether she wins or scares them it will result in only one reaction by the GOP, double-down on voter suppression and gerrymandering. They are never going to react in the old-fashioned way of adjusting their views to attract more voters.
