When I was a Tiny Wee Toddler, Da did Peachum in a production of Threepenny at the University of Iowa, where he was a theatre professor. We had that Decca album. I listened to it incessantly.

And in the morning when he was shaving, I'd stand on a stool next to him and we'd sing at the top of our lungs such age-appropriate songs as "Song of the Insufficiency of Human Struggling" and "Walk to Gallows."

And I wonder why I turned out like I did. Hah! :-)

Thank you for prompting those memories!

Okay, the old brain's frustrated we have no idea what Michael Mora said HERE (see below) and we're not watching a ten minute video to try to sort it out. So. Who wants to help us, anyone?

HERE: When Bill Maher Is Right, We're In Trouble. If not, knowing that Bill Maher was right about something should. Let's not ignore April Ryan's very real concern the same way news media ignored Keith Ellison's warning five years ago.

Bill Maher says that we're fucked b/c the Rs have spent the time since the election replacing everything that stood in the way of their failed ratfuckery in 2020 so that said ratfuckery will work in 2024, and he is right about that.

I don't agree with fat shaming either. Which mushroom dick is smaller, Trump's or Christie's?

Don't Republicans have church or something that would preclude them from all these sunday show appearances?

Well it's not like these shows are able to put reputable Republicans on the air. There are none. Which, of course, is completely fine with the media.

Picking the lowest fruit loops and plea bargaining down, while showing no inclination to after those who paid for it is hardly swift and effective justice.
