Just before that arrest happened, I saw a Who concert and Townsend ended the show by shouting this non-se quieter, “protect our children!” My friend and I just looked at each other. It seemed strange. Townsend surely knew he was under investigation and his image was about to be destroyed. Soon after, his home was raided and his excuse for the content was “I was doing research on child abuse for a book I’m writing about my own abuse.” The creepy, God-worshipping GOP are likewise just very protective of kids.
Before you play holier than thou, quote some statistics on the recidivism rate of pedophiles. Also too, he spent 40 days in jail. You really think he paid for his crime?

But, I only brought these to warn young people to stay far away from people who would harm them. These aren’t for us to use. They are safety props.
