The Jurassic Park raptors (which that looks to be in the painting) weren't technically the same as original tens-of-millions-of-years-ago velociraptors, being that they were genetically engineered into existence and designed as theme park attractions.

No, the part that's clearly fake is that Reagan is too young, that cloning and genetic engineering tech wasn't around until much later in his life. Granted it could be a Reagan clone, but that's even shittier and more dysfunctional material than the velociraptor stuff. Stretches credulity.

I hate to be one to generalize, too, and I sound more militant than I am. I am pissed at the way people in my city have been treated in the past and are still treated today.

A thank you note would be appropriate.

Mine are Voldemort and Rubio.

I haven't found a card that reads "Dear Senator, So exactly how does Donald Trump's shit taste on your tongue? Sweet? Sour? Salty? Bitter? Savory? Adderally?"

The War Powers Resolution likely is unconstitutional due to the mechanism Congress put into the law. Essentially, it says that if the Congress does not want the president to keep troops in a combat zone for longer than 60 days and has not given him/her authorization to do so, then the Congress can pass a "concurrent resolution" otherwise know as a legislative veto with simple majorities in both houses. This would not go the president for signature or veto. A 1983 SCOTUS case involving an immigration law with a similar process was struck down as unconstitutional due to that process (INS v. Chadha) by a 7-2 vote with Burger writing the opinion.

And you are right to be pissed. Before the Civil War, police used to supplement their incomes as slavecatchers often kidnapping free blacks and forging papers to justify their crimes.

Most departments haven’t progressed much beyond that horrendous history.

But some of us are good people who don’t give in to the hatred and let evil destroy us

I hear you. I worked in the correctional system when I was a teacher, I still get called part of the the system even though my job was to make sure kids learned math.
