I don’t believe it takes much to unify the Republicans because their only platform is to retain power. McConnell hasn’t traditionally had to try very hard to crack his whip and get results.

Perhaps now is the time to attach the alleged deal to Manchin, so that WHEN the inevitable happens, and the Republicans obstruct, he will publicly face the scrutiny he should be getting for his bipartisanship fetish. Maybe some ads in WV? I dunno… if he doesn’t care about the Party, and he doesn’t care about re-election, then how do we make him care about anything other than Koch money?
