So why can't the House obtain a copy of the entire phone call from Ukraine? I'm thinking that that country's officials surely record their own president's calls as well, if they have a brain among them. And why don't they go after that asshole Eisenberg on misuse of the classified-document system - it's not OK to upgrade a classification, and who made Eisenberg an original classifier in the first place? And hey, GOP -- how long do you think you can get away with saying, "Yes, it's a crime to involve another country in an American election; yes, Cheetolini asked Ukraine to get involved with a U.S. election; no, President Bone Spurs didn't commit a crime"?
Republican voters are motivated largely by grievance. They assume acting on grievances is fine. Trump had a grievance against Biden, he did whatever he wanted to get revenge.Bill Clinton got a blow job.Trump voters do not. This is how you square that legal circle.
They don't record these phone calls, since Nixon for some mysterious reason. However, they do have people listening in and taking notes. That and people's recollections is all we are going to have to work with. Obviously, a little bit muddier, as intended. An actual recording in Trump's own voice plays so much better in the media than several nameless dweebs taking boring notes and have recollections.
My thought was that we should get the recording itself FROM Ukraine, if their officials have one, and I would think they would -- or at least Ukraine's transcription of the whole thing. Sorry if I wasn't clearer the first time!
And that's a special order item at Napa.
Opening statment . . . to be followed by some hard questions. Of course the Trumptards are going to run with the propaganda, not the answers.
10. It wasn't a crime.11. OK it was a crime, but a crime is not a crime.
Rudy's arms aren't long enough.
Because why would the coordinator of Ukraine policy need to tell other people what the two presidents had to say about it?
They also want to talk only about his public propaganda piece - not his answers to the committee counsels' questions.
For now, at least, he's our arrogant prick. I hope he lets Donnie Dumbfuck have it with both barrels.
There may have been something about investing in the Chucklefucks marijuana business. IIRC.
