My fave is still the rhythm method. It's how I got here.

Ta, Robyn. Let's ask ol' Clarence what he thinks of the Loving decision.

He'll be grandfathered in, I'm sure.

There will be exceptions. He believes that with every fiber of his being.

It is not what you say that matters, it is what you do.

The religious liberties of some Americans to ban all sexual behaviour of which they disapprove, especially on the part of agnostics and atheists and probably supralapsarianists and Star Wars nerds too.

FUCK, FUCK, FUCK the "religious freedom" of superstitious shitheads to impose their dogmas and silly-ass beliefs on the majority of us who do not share their delusions of righteousness, FUCK their tender widdle feelings and their desire to meddle in our lives. FUCKI that hideous, corrupt old gargoyle Thomas and his equally repellant hag of a wife, FUCK the whole goddamned Traitor Party and all its minions, lackeys and followers, all of them, right up the poop chute with a nail-studded electrified baseball bat. inshallah.

Mississippi: The State with the highest infant mortality in the nation. Also the State with the highest rate of infants born with congenital syphilis. They sure do love those BAYBEEZ in Mississippi Goddam.

“There is no threat to access to contraception[.]”

Oh, please, they’d still be telling me there’s no threat to access to abortion if they thought I’d be silly enough to believe them. There could be a woman coding on a table from sepsis due to the deceased fetus she’s been forced to carry, and most of the GOP would look me dead in the eye and say, “We don’t know those two events are related.”

"We would never ban contraceptives."

"You just voted to ban contraceptives."

"How dare you point out we want to ban contraceptives. Stop making this political."

I think it’s well past time for the Senate to pass a law that prevents people from shooting puppies in gravel pits.

The entire Republican Party is a "show vote".

The entire rethuggery is a "Hollywood Front." Teeth that are artificailly straight and white and pretty in front, but crooked and rotting in back.

Like abortion, contraceptives should be left up to the states. No, not the people of the states, but the land. Let the land decide. If the land says yay, then you can have your contraceptives and your abortions and your boner pills. If the land is silent or nay, then lie back, think of England, and pray really hard that everything will work out. Or maybe, since healthcare is kind of a personal issue, let individual people decide for themselves what healthcare they want. Of course, this way leads to anarchy and sexy dogs and cats sleeping together.

I think you are incorrect, though. I'm pretty sure boner pills will always be allowed because men's bodies are sacred, and they are like bees, able to flit from flower to flower, pollinating as they go, with no consequences, necessary.

Very messy bees. That need a nap after every flower.

First, Hyde-Smith is an idiot. If this was a show vote, Republicans played straight into the hands of Democrats by blocking the bill. Second, I am SICK AND FUCKING TIRED of some dipshit lawmaker’s feelings and religious beliefs being shoved down everyone’s throat. Just because some asshole from Mississippi thinks her chosen deity doesn’t want her to have (whatever) DOES NOT AND CAN NOT mean everyone else should be denied it. If your god doesn’t like abortion, then YOU shouldn’t have an abortion. Does not apply to anyone else.

Last, Bat Boy can go get bent. Republicans scream and stomp their feet about parental rights and whatnot but I watched here in Louisiana while legislators made clear that religious nuttery trumps parental rights (HB121, the “pronoun bill”). Oh, and there’s no threat to contraception access? Bull-fucking-shit.

Ah but making it apply to everyone else is what they get off on the most. Because that 'proves' that their Big Boss is the realest, most ultra Big Boss of them all. And if everyone would just admit that and abide by whatever they think their Boss wants this week then life would be just peachy and church lady superior dances would spontaneously break out across the nation.

Do they want everyone to be gay? Because this is a push in the right direction if they want the fence sitters who like it both ways to choose the rainbow path. Want sexy times without babies? Birth control is illegal? Get nakeds with someone who has fun parts that are the samesies as your own. Problem solved!
