The Graham-Cassidy bill to murder Obamacare isn't actually dead yet, and the bill's supporters keep fiddling around with the numbers to try and make it slightly more palatable to Republican senators who might conceivably be convinced to pass the damned thing this week.

Also in the South, the many thousands of former textile mill workers retrained as certified nursing assistants who are now gainfully employed as home health care workers and nursing home aides would be laid off - again - from this Republican bullshit.

I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that Republican governance is, on balance, pretty lousy.
