Mebbe Ms. Lindsay wasn't good at her JAG job. She ain't worth a spit in Senate.

In spite of a cognitive dissonance violent enough to rattle one's teeth, the phrase "World's Greatest Deliberative Body" continues to refer to the United States Senate. Senators actually believe this, too. They are not being sarcastic when they say it, leading me to believe that someday historians of the future will be able to pinpoint, to the day, the precise moment irony died.

When the tables are turned on these two watch both "men" claim they're being persecuted. Not only are all bullies cowards at heart they are crybabies as well.

These guys aren't acting like good Republicans just following Reagan's 11th Commandment (Thou shall not say anything bad about a fellow Republican). They are acting like they've been compromised by the Russians as well and are doing everything to cover their asses by not letting anything get out.

It's probably the money. Citizens United allowed Republicans to accumulate vast amounts of money from questionable sources. As they say, "Behind every great fortune is a crime."

My dad and his brother and sister were raised in a IOOF orphanage in Illinois. I went with him to a 50 year reunion. It was like finding dozens of aunts and uncles. Good people.
