This morning Chris Cillizza (yes, that Chris Cillizza) made an interesting point out yesterday's Ohio Republican senate primary. Chump did endorse Vance, and Vance (or whatever his name is) won. But the entire field was Chump wannabees. Chump just picked the one he most liked.

So, Chump has tremendous influence of all the candidates are mini-mes. Got it. What is his power if the field is more diverse? We're about to find out.

Now, to take a step back, the larger issue is why were all the candidates Chump imitators? That's a serious problem.
