Greenspan's Hot, Wet Nights
Via Hotline's "Last Call", we learn from "GQ" the Fed Chair's secret method:
"Greenspan heads straight to the bathroom, turns on a large fan to create a blast of white noise that blocks out sound, draws a hot bath, strips off his clothes, and settles into the water for at least an hour and sometimes two."
It's a familiar technique, though not usually for speech writing, which is what "GQ" claims Greenspan's doing in there.
