Just wondering if anything anybody in the Drumpf administration has ever denied has ever been shown not to have in fact happened. Seems to me they're batting 0.000 in the denials business.

Everything I have read says a president can not pardon co-conspirators in a crime to obstruct justice. The pardon would be challenged to SCOTUS.
A pardon is also an admission of guilt and does not prevent state and civil lawsuits and there are at least two state investigations into Trump in NY and Maryland for possible RICO violations.
If Pence became VP he could pardon Trump but doing so would probably end his chance at a run for president and his career so Trump has to worry about that.
I don't see much of a way for Trump to escape justice unless he agrees to resign in disgrace in exchange for Mueller dropping any serious charges like they did with Nixon.
