A pro-gun group plans to hold a demonstration in favor of the 2nd Amendment in the same suburban Denver park where a remembrance will be held for victims of the Aurora theater shootings, which occurred one year ago today. Members of Rocky Mountain Gun Owners insist that they have no choice but to stand their ground in the park, since the remembrance is being sponsored by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's group Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which has threatened freedom by pressing state legislatures to pass slightly tougher restrictions on gun sales. Showing up to advocate gun rights at a memorial for shooting victims is simply RMGO's way of ensuring that survivors of the shootings not get away with politicizing the victims' deaths.
That second quote really does sum up the wingtard mentality: if they don't like the facts, they blame it on the vast left-wing consipracy, and keep digging for the "conservative facts" that will make their idiocy look like rational thinking. Conservapedia was invented expressly for the purpose of "unskewing" reality for the Faux News demographic.
"just because I trust myself and my family to be safe with their firearms, doesn't mean I trust my neighbor or my classmate, just as they may not trust me."
These NRA-holes never think things through, do they? Nobody trusts anybody except themselves and their family (like Mrs. Lanza, eh?) -- and everbody's got a gun in their pocket. What could possibly go wrong?
Maybe there's a business opportunity for the Westboro Batshits: printing up GOD HATES ________ signs. They could sell 'em in 12-packs ("Includes Free Jumbo Magic Marker!") to hate groups and wingnutz all across the country.
It would be awesome if someone with a video camera did some one the spot interviews asking, "excuse me, are you affiliated with the WBC?"

Don't need to carry signs when you're carrying guns; makes yer feelings real clear, ya know.
Collateral damage. But don't DARE memorialize them afterward.
"a reading of names of people who have died from gun violence nationwide . . . "
There's a new name put on the list every 15-20 minutes, so they'd better get started soon or they'll never finish.

"Is this the end of Georgie?"
Sorry, but it's still too soon for "Adam Lanza look-alike".

Funny how the founder of Coors was named Adolf...coincidence? I think not.

Perhaps Herr LaPierre should attend and lay a wreath made from ammo belts.
