Literal Hundreds Of Gunhumpers Won't Have NRA-TV To Hump Their Guns To, Anymore :(

DING DONG THE WITCH IS ... quite likely to land on her feet. But for today, the New York Times reports Dana Loesch is out of a job, the latest casualty in the war between the NRA and its longtime advertising company Ackerman McQueen. But every cloud has a silver bullet lining, since Dana will have more free time now to spend on her favorite hobby. We can't wait to see which cartoon character she photoshops Klan hoods onto next. Maybe she'll branch out and start putting Nazi armbands onto Buzz Lightyear. Oh, we would be so triggered!

As one of the most visible characters on NRATV with literal hundreds of viewersfor each of her fascist rants, Dana Loesch was a tireless advocate for the gunhumpers lobby, always ready to call out "tragedy dry-humping whores,"threatening to"fist" or perhaps "fisk"the New York Times, and expressing her hope that the Mueller Report would die in an"AIDS fire." 

But her actual employer was Ackerman McQueen, which produced NRATV and all its content. In fact, it was Ackerman's alleged refusal to disclose then-NRA president Oliver North's contract to produce NRATV content that precipitated the legal slugfest that got us here today. And now they are never, ever ever getting back together.

Many members expressed concern about the messaging on NRATV becoming too far removed from our core mission: defending the Second Amendment.

So, after careful consideration, I am announcing that starting today, we are undergoing a significant change in our communications strategy. We are no longer airing "live TV" programming.

And Wayne LaPierre means NEVER.

What necessitated the change now is our conclusion that our longtime advertising firm and website vendor failed to deliver upon many contractual obligations it made to our Association. The NRA will always hold our vendors to high standards and ask that they maximize their value to the Association. No exceptions.

Ackerman, which had threatened to pull the plug on NRATV itself last week in a court filing claiming the NRA was $1.6 million in arrears on its bills, hit back, saying, "When given the opportunity to do the right thing, the N.R.A. once again has taken action that we believe is intended to harm our company even at the expense of the N.R.A. itself." Because what's good for Ackerman, which got paid $40 million last year by the NRA, must be good for the NRA, right?

Christopher Cox, the NRA's second-in-command and head of its Institute for Legislative Action, has also resigned, after allegedly being implicated in a "coup" orchestrated by Ackerman and Oliver North to oust Wayne LaPierre. So, circular firing squad all around.

So what's next for the embattled gun lobby? Let's check in with former congressman and current NRA board member Allen West , who strenuously objectsto statements by new NRA President Carolyn "Your Confederate Granny" Meadows claiming that the wider board has been kept in the loop and unanimously voted to reappoint Wayne LaPierre for another term. West isalways good for batshit copy. What say you, good sir?

These statements have maliciously, recklessly and purposefully put me, and uninformed Board members, in legal jeopardy.

Prior to the NRAAM in Indianapolis I sent an email to Wayne LaPierre's managing director, Millie Hallow, expressing my sentiment that Wayne LaPierre resign immediately.

I also drafted a memo entitled "Resolution of Concerns," both of these statements are known to the NRA Board. It is imperative that the NRA cleans its own house. If we had done so in Indianapolis, much of this could have been rectified.

I do not support Wayne LaPierre continuing as the EVP/CEO of the NRA. The vote in Indianapolis was by acclamation , not roll call vote. There is a cabal of cronyism operating within the NRA and that exists within the Board of Directors. It must cease, and I do not care if I draw their angst. My duty and responsibility is to the Members of the National Rifle Association, and my oath, since July 31, 1982, has been to the Constitution of the United States, not to any political party, person, or cabal.

It's a CABAL of MALICIOUS, RECKLESS, PURPOSEFUL CRONIES. Allegedly.
