I just saw that Camp Topridge was originally owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post - whp also owned Mar-A-Lago. As it is, Post willed Mar-A-Lago to the federal government in 1973 ( it had been designated a National Historic Site in 1969 and a National Historic Landmark in 1980 ), along with a $200,000 annual stipend to pay for maintenance. This wasn't enough - and in 1980, Congress ceded the property back to the Post Foundation, which sold it to PAB in 1986.
I wonder if anyone has checked on whether or not PAB is honoring the requirements of preserving a National Historic Landmark.
No, I don't think he does. In reading his decisions and dissents, I get the feeling that he absolutely thinks he's right and everyone else is wrong. He's not a humble person, nor is he very deep in his thinking.
I'm more of the impression that he has already decided an issue before it even reaches the Supreme Court and then he looks for justification in earlier opinions of the Court to justify the end result he wants.
I'd say scream this shit from the rooftops all day every day without the signature whataboutism but that would just set off every shock collar at corporate media HQs.
