Jeebus Crisp, YT is making me watch ads in embedded videos now too? Fuck them with a rusty garden weasel.

I live in Florida and man do I hate me some Rick Scott. Actually worse than Marco amazingly.

I escaped more than forty years ago, but nearly my whole family is there, and that's quite a few voters. As far as I know, they're all voting for Democrats up and down the ticket.

I hope so. Also, as a Floridian, I wish we could recall Gov. DeShameless.

"Scott’s general nastiness"

He's not just nasty; he's strikingly obtuse. I have houseplants that can read a room better than Rick Scott can.

Somehow republicans send me texts addressed to my wingnut brother. Usually I say something mean, then text "stop." Today i got one: "Wingnut Bro, it's Mark from Membership Services. Your House GOP Membership should be TERMINATED, but I'm giving you one more chance." Then there's a link. So this time I just wrote back, Fuck You, and a few minutes later got a message saying I had successfully unsubscribed. So I've saved a step and this way I know someone had to read it before the unsubscribing took effect. It was great fun.

Speaking of Florida, I like this poll from St. Pete. Granted, a blue area, but the dem running against Anna Paulina Luna is ahead by 4 points.

Hey Dok, I was going to email you directly, but don't see the contact list anywhere now. Are you following the issues re: AI's extreme use of energy resources? There have been some pieces in the LATimes,, fyi; I'll send one although I may be out of free articles. If you've touched on this issue already, sorry to have missed it: I'm behind on all readings at present.

Rick Scott beat Bill Nelson by 0.2% last time. THAT'S IT!! Senator Googly-Eyed Judge Doom-lookin' MFer is beatable!!

At least OHJB appointed Bill to be the new NASA administrator, who's turned out pretty okay doing that. Legislator/Astronaut credibility will help with that of course.

Yeah, that's the election that gave us DeSantis. It was only 2 years into the TFG term and I think a lot more MAGAS were part of that. Maybe wishful thinking. I don't think Voldemort is unbeatable.

Rick Scott is the beating heart of cuts to Social Security and Medicare. That message needs to get out to older Floridians.

Speaking of (holding) beating hearts (in one's hand), now that I think about it, Scott DOES look a bit like Mola Ram from Temple of Doom.

We watched a video of Mucarsel-Powell a while back and were floored! My husband said, Damn..We need to give to her campaign. She was gooooood.

Also I got a request for donation from Tester like 10 minutes ago and I saved it not really knowing much about Tester so giving there seems almost serendipitous.

I'm worried about Jon Tester in Montana so picking up an unexpected win elsewhere would be fantastic. Imagine after this roller coaster of an election cycle, we get Harris in the Whitehouse, regain the majority in the House, but have a 49-51 Senate.

I'm thinking maybe Tim should do at least a rally with him in MT. They are both folksy and likeable.
