Your Wonkette comes bearing sad news: Helen Thomas, "White House Crone," died today at age 92 after a long and eventful tour through the halls of the White House. Younger Wonketeers may only know her from that 2010 videowhere she made anti-Semitic comments
It's not an uncommon comment, including among Jews. She also said they should go back to America. I can't figure out why that's somehow hate speech about Jews. It was a reference to the way Israel has gradually absorbed the West Bank by importing "settlers"--most of them from Russia, Poland, and Brooklyn. It was also probably an expression of the wish that Israel had never been founded--something I wish myself.
Sure, but not when it's reported in a distorted manner, and above the fold. It was one carelessly phrased remark out of 75 years of serious journalism. Nice to put it right in the 2nd sentence, before anything else in her long, illustrious career is mentioned. Fox News would be proud.
didn't everyone?
We can't afford to lose any real journalists - they are becoming an endangered species.
That is brilliant. A robotic Mustache of Understanding.
What's with the soda in the toilet? Worst Rum and Coke ever.
That's a load of Bull.
Instead of throwing back Cosmos, maybe they should start throwing down lightning bolts at the dolts that are ruining the cosmos that we live in.

Ok, but can we go back to Rachel Maddow for a minute....?
Her turn...to die?
Barbara Mikulski begs to differ. Martha Mitchell would too, but she's dead. Probably.
