Ha, ha, ha! Seriously, this thing is a hilarious parody of trump when it talks...well my friends at the bar thought it looked like he was performing fellacio...https://www.trumpytrout.com/
I just read this post with a Russian-accented voice in my head. I kept having to stop so I could laugh. Chef's kiss, Gary. (If Trump wins, see you in the gulag.)
To be fair to Vladimir Vladimirovich, The Great Patriotic Girl from Novgorod and the Dublyonka Factory sounds like the kind of Russian film that would have got serious international attention during the Soviet period and also earned its director ten years in a Kolyma work camp.
"Earlier today, unfortunately, we did have five non-credible bomb threats that were reported, leading to a temporary evacuation of two locations for approximately 30 minutes each," Fulton County Election Director Nadine Williams said at a press conference Tuesday morning. "Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said at a Tuesday morning update that the threats were believed to be of Russian origin, though he didn't explain further. “They’re up to mischief, it seems," he said. "They don’t want us to have a smooth, fair and accurate election. They can get us to fight among ourselves, they can count that as a victory." [HuffPost]
Good grief, what is it about these men and their meltdowns over women laughing? They said the same thing about Hillary - she cackles. Women's laughter really seems to trigger them even when it's not directed at them. As I said on a different website a couple of days ago, at least she does laugh. When has Trump genuinely laughed at anything that wasn't one of his own cruel "jokes"?
On the bright side (yeah, I know), the big toss ups like GA, PA, the snowy Midwest states, and even NC and FL (?!) are mostly Eastern time, so we'll get some kinda indication tonight, at least.
There's a question on Twitter: "When did you first realize Trump was unfit for office?" I don't tweet anymore (I read, but don't write there), so here's my answer:
Reading Bloom County comics when I was a kid in the '80s.
Does anybody know which cabinet position Liz Cheney is supposed to get?
I hate the idea that this is even being considered. Really, cabinet positions are important, and should go to people who were right more than once. Like people who have been faithful Democrats for 20 or 30 years and not to GOP hacks who noticed something super obvious a single time in their life.
Still, I’m curious about which position she is being considered for.
I hope so. With any luck he will become the rotting albatross chained around the neck of the Republican Party, living to be older than Kissinger and demanding the nomination every cycle.
Every so often I will check in via FB on people I grew up with who have turned into serious wingnuts. Mainly because I know they are actual people, not bots. Depressing how they have gone so far off the deepn end. One had a bunch of RFK stuff, and some religious guy with long hair who prays over TFG and has for along time; another had Kamala in a Commie Uniform (well, it was a red uniform with hammers and sickles on it), and something about a big prayer-in last night that the election would be "too big to rig" in TFG's favor.
I was with my aunt recently and we had a relatively civil discussion about politics. She was a lifelong Democrat but Obama brought out an ugly side that led to many fights between us.
We agreed to disagree on Warren and that Dr. Jill Biden should refer to herself as such. She stressed how much she disliked AOC and all she stood for. I asked for specifics and she said she didn't know any but she just knows she's no good.
Blah blah bottom line she is voting for Harris. She especially can't stand Vance.
I would save them, print them out and use them as wrapping paper for some kind of book for Christmas, with a note saying you thought the book would be less bothersome for them than a re-education camp.
Sons of Gondor, sons of Rohan, my brothers, I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight!! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!”

Putin and Hair Furor have a lot in common, like their no taste in women.

me too.
My inner reading voice sounded more like Boris Badenov, but basically, same.

Ta, Gary. I hereby condemn Vlad to the hell he purports to believe in, sooner rather than later.
'Non-Credible' Bomb Threats Briefly Interrupt Atlanta-Area Polling Sites; Election Chief Blames Russia

I am on break at the polls. The cannot say anything about this article (obviously), but it is hilarious!
Bravo, Gary!
Dang Vlad makes sense! Oops I already voted for Commie-la.
Keep Kalm-ala and Carry On-ala
We voted for Kamala the first week the polls opened here in Floriduh. Just to make sure.

This is not the time to be concerned about an internet rumor.
None, until she says the magic words: "The Left has been correct about the Right in this country all along."
I think it's just a rumor. Can't imagine this disciplined Harris campaign talking about cabinet positions at this point.
Yeah, that's more a 'Okay, who's sucked my dick the most this week?' Drumpf thing.
Hallmark Christmas movies season never ends.
Hallmark movies never end. I tried watching one and gave up after about a month (subjective time.)
I'm squatting on Trump2028.com, just in case.
VanceCarlson2028 was not available?
Ouch.
Figuratively or literally?
Yes.
He'll be the nominee in 2028, whether he wins today, or not, or is in prison.
I hope so. With any luck he will become the rotting albatross chained around the neck of the Republican Party, living to be older than Kissinger and demanding the nomination every cycle.
He'll be A nominee, even if he's dead.
Constitutional crisis, Constitutional crisis!
Our enemies are licking their chops.
They had better embalm the shit out of Trump if he dies and wants to run in 2028.
I'd say he acts like someone who has already begun the embalming process.
Well, TBT, I have a bottle of cognac ready to open so that I can begin mine.
Why wait?
Why, indeed.
Relatives sending me Trump e-mails begging for me to "Save Murka From Communism".
Every one of those e-mails is put in the trash queue.
America is about as likely to turn Communist as Russia is.

I always ask him to be a little more specific about why they hate Kamala Harris, and what she’s doing that’s communism.
And I always add, for variety’s sake, if nothing else.
They either ignore it, or get mad, or spout a bunch of gibberish talking points if they try to answer. Which has only happened once or twice.
Asking them to be specific is kryptonite to Republicans.
I was with my aunt recently and we had a relatively civil discussion about politics. She was a lifelong Democrat but Obama brought out an ugly side that led to many fights between us.

The old Red Scare, and they fell for it.
So they waited till the last day, to purswaid you ?
I would save them, print them out and use them as wrapping paper for some kind of book for Christmas, with a note saying you thought the book would be less bothersome for them than a re-education camp.
But, can they read ?
Maus requires minimal reading
We did, 1917-1989.
I'd be tempted to ask them what communism actually is. But I probably would rather not waste my time on idiots.
"Stuff I don't like!"
Okay, so what is socialism then?
'Communism!'
"Well, why do you have two different words for the same thing?"
(Head assplodes)

I can't engage in a battle of wits with unarmed relatives. Nothing will stop them from voting for Trump 'cause Jesus says so.
In my case, my Trump loving (former) relatives *are* armed and I have nightmares about them coming after me.

For Kamala.
And one brave girl.
(I always, always cry when she says "I am no man.")
