The Republicans could stop this any time they want, but the party of Jesus is fine with it. These god-botherers should be the first to condemn this cruelty.
Our very own Texas senator, Ted Cruz, very much supports traumatizing young children in order to protect us from all these "bad hombres". Yes, the Ted Cruz whose wife said that if he were elected, Americans would "see the face of God" totally supports this gut-wrenchingly cruel policy.
seriously. I have to scroll through the entire non-comments to get to the next article, because I can't tell what the next article is from the front page.
Yes. I'm also terrified that it's been so incredibly fucked up that some children will NEVER be reunited with their families. Ever. I hope the goddamn UN sends SOMEBODY to check into this bullshit. They probably won't be able to get in but they can report back.
Well, they all died, so we'll probably never know. (Unless they are re-animated by the Night King, at which point the discussion will center around if their evil comes from their lineage, or from their reanimation.)
I live in Denver so I feel exactly the same way. I went to the park yesterday afternoon and people of all colors were hanging out, having BBQs, volleyball games or just lazing around in the shade. No issues whatsoever, everyone had a good time, no cops were called. Just the way things should be.
Yah. My Senators are Kamala Harris and Dianne Feinstein. They don't need me to remind them to oppose this fuckery (although I should probably call and leave messages of appreciation more often).
FWIW, I just read that 55 years ago today JFK set in motion the Civil Rights Act. In a televised address to the nation, he said that the US faces "a moral crisis."
Are you campaigning for Beto? If he beats Cruz, that will be one less fool in the Freedom Caucus.
Any Congresional Repugs sign on yet as sponsors of the bill to put an end to this shit?Yeah, didn't think so. Craven fuckers, every last one of them.

Sometimes I wish there were a hell.
Yah.
It's happening again.
Are we doomed never to learn from the horrors of the past, I wonder.

Jeebus, it's like we've got a substitute teacher today and he's already bailed for the teachers lounge with the bottle he found in the desk.
