It's weird how the "thievery" narrative has got around. It sounds cool! But if you find a bag or rolling suitcase in a garbage can, it that really thievery? And they were "well-dressed"? And somehow the bombs didn't go off when they.. extracted the bombs and stole the suitcase? And then were upstanding citizens calling the police to alert them of the bombs?

Maybe it's me and my booze problem, but so much doesn't add up here. Also? In Manhattan, people are loath these days to take things off the street for fear of bedbugs. Luggage on the street would be a likely no for "well-dressed" thieves, maybe? That and mattresses and furniture. I don't know.

I profile differently. Young male waiter equals student, actor, dancer. Chances of gay or bisexual are good. Spanish indicates honest, hard worker that has a rough life. If gay, then also assume he has had a horrible life should he be from Central America or Mexico. Smile, and express interest in him as a human being. If he suddenly mentions his girlfriend, assume another faux straight man who has stolen a job intended for the gays.
