She's got to be thrilled by this one Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly has good news for the rabid xenophobes who want all the brown people to go away: Last night, he announced DHS would rescind an Obama administration policy -- never fully implemented because of court challenges -- protecting undocumented parents of U.S. citizens from deportation. The announcement was met with great approval from the sort of people who jump into comment sections to clarify that "undocumented migrant" is just the liberal media's word for ILLEGAL ALIEN.

One thing that drives me nuts is they don't want them here but maybe they'll serve them at one of the "ALL INCLUSIVE RESORTS" we have in Mexico and using up all their natural resources at their expense. Okay to exploit but not to embrace as part of humanity.
It all comes back to the saying that if god is omnipotent, then he is not benevolent, and if he is benevolent, then he is not omnipotent. Nothing about any god I've read about in any holy book makes rational sense, they all use circular logic. I just figure that if there is some kind of supreme being, then my statement about giving us a pretty nice planet and some pretty simple rules holds true, because after that why would they need to hang around? The job is done after that, time to go off and do something more fun on the other side of the universe. Or make a new universe somewhere else. Or take a nap. The idea that gods hang around and watch everything we do and make little notes of all our sins in a big book and observe every sparrow falling, that's just shit the religions made up to scare people. Supreme beings must have better things to do with their time.
