here's hoping for a jury with millions and millions of bright-eyed bushy-tailed little neurons all functioning at peak efficiency.

Oh Robin :(Why the fcck did you have to get chosen for this one? And the poor judge? Huge upside of course, seeing Weinstein get flushed down the justice tubes. Not a huge Courtney Love fan, but I always did love this clip:https://www.youtube.com/wat...

No. Even the athiests have a misogyny problem.

Did none of these women tell their stories to a vengeful husband or boyfriend? I'd have offed this scum long ago. Indeed, I discouraged a stalker bothering a friend by sticking a knife in his ribs and suggesting i would cut out his kidneys if he ever bothered her again. Worked like a charm.

I turned out to be an alternative in a jury case. It doesn't mean that I didn't take the case seriously.

"I'll read this, but I'm generally familiar with this area of the law."

maybe it's just me but isn't pissing off a judge like that not really the best idea?

Courtney always reminds me of Nancy Spungen. tragic figure if I've ever seen one.

That is the thing...he is a nasty piece of work AND a disgusting sexual predator. The cruelty of his nature is what is truly horrifying

When I was young I had a rather jaundiced view of the women who “consented” and got ahead. I (and the others around me) looked the other way when a fellow student told a group of us (we were away from home at the time) that she had been “forced” by another student (who already was a “star”) while she was drunk. Yeah, she was drunk and I remember thinking how foolish she was to put herself there...alone in a room with someone I knew to have no consideration for others (he became angry with me once and threw a bottle at me...there were only other males in the room and they did not say a word.) She could not even use the work “rape”. What I have since come to realize is that there is no “consent” when there is such a power disparity and where the goal of that one person has to become “successful” is predicated on doing something that they find demeaning (I keep thinking of Weinstein’s assistants...he degraded them as surely as he degraded anyone who was ever in his presence). Weinstein simply hates all of us...and for a time he got to vent that hatred, especially on beautiful women who didn’t like him. He is like a serial killer.
