I LOVE those old sexist ads. I bought a pair of end tables from the thrift store and repainted them and gave htem new handles on the drawer, and I bought special cut glass tops for the tops (It wasn't that bad, each piece of glass was like $15), but I printed out all the most sexist old ads I could find and put them under one of the glass tops. It was a total hit at parties since they were all real and some of them are SO SEXIST, it's just hilarious.
I reckon that when they think about "manhood" they conjure images like Chris and Vin driving the hearse up the slope to confront the armed bigots who don't want that poor old Indian buried in Boot Hill. They probably see themselves as Chris and Vin. Actually, they'd be the armed bigots. They'd agree that Sam wasn't fit to be buried among the "killers, cut-throats and derelict old barflies" who happened to be white.

My observation is that the smart ones are the outliers. I am kind of ordinary myself, but I always strive to be at least 10 percent better than I was yesterday. (I'm a bit cautious that way)
Just ordered it. Besides, I was never taught in any way to be horrible or mean to others. whatever harm I have done, I picked it up by myself. It's on me. And it is my responsibility to correct my behavior accordingly. I do not think I am unique in this respect.
