Trump will have The ICEStapo at voting sites and county election tabulation centers on Election Day. All this shit that they are doing is training for that day. They are putting more effort into violently suppressing dissent and first amendment monitoring of their behavior than in capturing immigrants. We know what they are planning on doing. The Dem governors know what they are planning on doing. The Dem legislators know what they are planning on doing. We saw what they are capable of doing on J6 & everyday in the streets of America. They have made it clear that they are not bound by nor encumbered by the Constitution. So, the time is now and imperative that Dem run states and Dem governors start working on legislation, court orders, and a plan to deal with this shit. My ideas are these:
1. Each Gov activates their National Guard at least 2 weeks prior to Election Day
2. Draw up dispersal plans on where to place armed , locked & loaded NG teams at every Dem friendly polling site on Election Day. I do not think that ICE would show their hand by harassing early voting sites prior to Election Day, but they just might.
3. Pass legislation prohibiting ICE thugs from coming within a minimum of 1000 feet of any polling/voting sites and county central tabulation centers.
4. There evidently is a law (National, I think) which prevents any armed persons at polling sites. Write legislation making an exemption for NG protection.
5. Go to court as early as possible to get court orders prohibiting ICE thugs from coming within 1 000 feet of poling sites & from stopping voters in the streets.
6. Do everything possible to secure the ballots and the equipment. Have all the ballots transported to the central tabulation centers by either armed police or armed NG.
Any attempt by the Trump regime to prevent Election Day and/or to seize ballots & equipment must be the line in the sand which cannot be tolerated.
This. The national guard, cops, ICE, active-duty military are the. same. fucking. team! They're a many-headed hydra all sharing the same rotten core, and that core is to be the violent lapdogs of the capitalist ruling class. Putting the national guard at polling locations is the exact same as putting ICE there.
