blood coming out of her wherever Last week, Sarah and Bristol Palin's ghostwriter, Nancy French, wrote a HELL of a story in the Washington Post. Yes. Nancy French! In it, she talked about the pastor who molested her while her breasts were still budding -- he was no longer interested once they'd blossomed -- and the grownups who took his side and pretended nothing had ever happened.
Meggles is riding a wave, and Fucks Gnus cannot ignore it - they're losing the not-anrgy-white-geezer demographic:http://www.mediaite.com/tv/...Hannity is going down the rabbit hole with Drumpf and his alt-right StormTrumpers, and Faux can't ignore his lunacy much longer either. (Read that link to David French's article - those racist MRAssholes are a basket of despicables.)
I loved his line about "Two parallel universes." I wish Meggles had pointed out that one of them corresponded to the real world - and the other was the toxic product of self-delusion and hallucination.
I have voted for RWNJs in the primary because the opponent was way *worse* and there was no Democrat running. This is a pretty red area (the South) so outside cities and college towns there is not a lot of strong Democratic sentiment (though if you look at voting, it is closer, and this state is going to be purple in a few years). When Ralph McGill was editor of The Atlanta Constitution he was very keen to have the state develop a real two-party system to replace the old Democratic machine. It might have, but the Southern Strategy short circuited that and the Republicans who took over were nuts. In rural areas, many were former Democrats, mostly looking out for local interests. But Trump has been so off the rails, the editor of the local (weekly) paper has written three (or more) half-page editorials denouncing him. The editor would be happy with a generally conservative candidate.
Met an 18 year old girl who is a trumpkin. Asked her about his various scandals, and she said 'all men do those things, and it's not fair to single him out for it it hasn't stopped anyone else from being in power'. I just. I know she is an adult but I still wanted to call CPS on her family. :(
In any given election that doesn't turn out like they wanted, the GOP soul-searching is pretty much limited to (1) which socially vulnerable group to blame and (2) how to fine-tune their scams to make them more effective next time.
Of course, the turd in the punch bowl of that religious teaching is that it makes it clear that the husband is a stand-in for Christ -- who, Christian theology emphasizes, is God incarnate; one of the three aspects of the Trinity. The comparison of the wife to the Church is a comparison to a community of limited, fallible, sinful human beings.
In other words -- men are one step closer to God than women and this should be reflected in marriage. Incredible that any woman would buy into that.
Could be. Scarlett O'Hara's perception of other women as rival predators didn't expire when the 19th century did. It was certainly alive and well in the late 1950s/1960s when I was growing up.

Ask that big fuckin guy!

Spot on!
Sigh.

What could go wrong?
I'm pretty sure they know where they fucked up.

I wish Megyn had pointed out that the shit sandwich she was making him eat was his own recipe.
Of course, when an Angry Young Man evolves into an Angry Old Man, there is considerable loss in translation.

Aryanist. She's got the look.
No good Aryan woman would ever use such language.
