Having been on the receiving end of cop intimidation/harassment due to "driving with lefty bumper stickers" and knowing a fair number of folks stopped and intimidated (or worse) for driving while nonwhite- I am finding it hard to muster a lot of sympathy for cops being stopped and harassed by the Goons. When we had them in Portland, our local cops were absolutely in bed with them.
Sympathy maybe not, but if they are harassing cops, the "good guys with the guns" without a care, it really hammers home how indifferent they are to the rest of us.
