We may be jumping to conclusions. 200 prior calls of violence is difficult to deny. Not impossible, especially under Trump and for a white male, but difficult. But just 22 calls in 18 months?

That poor girl. Trapped in a cycle of abuse. Leaving this bastard scares her more than staying and enduring more abuse. It’s all monstrous. And this is the kind of person Trump needs to purify America. Lady Liberty is sobbing.

Gotta go with the 18-year-olds. By the time they hit the ripe ol' age of 24, they know what shitheads Republican men are.

Wait, you mean ICE agents actually have to obey laws, too???

Since when?

Has our great "stable genius" President heard about this, yet?

He's sure to fire off an immediate Executive Order putting a stop to it as soon as he does!!

Way back in the day, INS agents (the precursor to ICE), some of them anyway, used to be somewhat defensive about what they did. Almost as if they had guilty consciences over rousting dishwashers and landscapers all day.

No more. The sense of shame has been brutalized out of our politics, and now, out of our government.

I don't think POS knows what DHS is doing. 0r DOJ or DOD or CDC...must I go on?

I'm not suggesting he gives a shit, but if asked by someone he likes he would claim *he doesn't really know *.

That's been his response for months.

I'm not saying that, once we have this all behind us, former ICE members should have their children taken from them for the sake of the children's safety.

But I'm not not saying it.

"It’s been almost a full year of Donald Trump’s [sic] second term, and it still doesn’t seem as though he or any of the MAGA faithful have really settled on a narrative about the horrific ICE raids"

As a basic rule, it's pretty much impossible to settle on a narrative when the person at the top bends every which way depending on which direction the wind is blowing. The Fulvous Fuckwad's narrative is based on whatever he heard last. Hell, he can't even settle in on a fixed item in his own Agenda47 (a cheap-ass ripoff of Project 2025).

> “Wait a minute! I was promised that they were just going after the ‘worst of the worst,’ but they’re going after my husband instead!”

> “they’re going after my wife instead!”

> “they’re going after meeeee!”

The part that I just can't grok is how these three, and so sooooo many others, didn't and still don't recognize that they are members of the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party until it is their face on the dinner table. Mass quantities of the blue pill and constantly wearing rose colored glasses are a good thing when checking out of reality.

"Because, according to one witness cited in the police report, Saxon held his girlfriend — whom he had started dating when she was 18 and he was in his 40s — in a chokehold in the hallway of their building."

See? This is what happens when you pay the slightest bit of attention to the lying MSM and their "news;" it gives the sickest fucks like Saxon ideas. Apparently Saxon learned from Diddy.

"those same people are currently screaming and crying about how empathy is “toxic.”"

"A nation without empathy is just a crime syndicate with a flag" Thom Hartmann

Totes apropos given our country is being run by one of the most prolific, unsympathetic, callous crime syndicates in all history.

C'mon, ICE can't go after dangerous criminals. Those people carry guns and shoot back. The "heroes" of ICE find it far safer to go after day workers in Home Depot parking lots and day care workers. Or, better yet, people who are in courtrooms to try and comply with the rules and they have had to go through metal detectors so no worries about them being armed. Plus if things go sideways because ICE agents screwed up, there are actual trained deputies/bailiffs around to cover them.

My question - why hasn't he been thrown in jail long before this? Broken pelvis in April? Broken pelvis? The pelvis is a very large bone - it's not easy to break a pelvis. What did he do that was worse this time? I think it's a miracle that his girlfriend isn't dead.

On the one hand, this is a depressingly common story of domestic violence. On the other hand, having police involved makes it worse and raises a pretty comment question, who polices the police? Generally no one. I agree that not all police are bad, some ICE agents probably started this with an idea of helping make the USA safer, However, the negative, horrendous propaganda being put out by trump and his mouthpieces brings in people who want to hate. People who want to demean others as a way of making themselves look better.

Unfortunately, there were no witnesses to the other injuries and the girlfriend refused to press charges. In those cases, the police's hands were tied. I am glad he's getting prosecuted vigorously now that a neighbor witnessed his assault on her.
