Will more people die of the Trump Administration (esp RFK JR) than died in the Civil War?

If I was an OBGYN, I'd bail on Idaho too. Problem is, I'd have to keep moving as more and more states fall to the Trumpkin dictatorship.

I would imagine the same situation exists in Ontario Oregon. 58 miles S.W. of Boise, just one mile after crossing the Snake River border between Idaho and Oregon.

I hope that Idaho also loses one third of its women, just to keep things balanced.

Not by death though, just by leaving another goddamn red state and moving somewhere civilized.

The combination of barring all abortions at VA hospitals and the high incidence of sexual assault and rape in the military. Is just **chef's kiss** for Rethuglicans.

Hating women GOP-style. Just like the Taliban.

A reminder of how far we would be able to regress.

From CDC: At the beginning of the 20th century, for every 1000 live births, six to nine women in the United States died of pregnancy-related complications, and approximately 100 infants died before age 1 year (1,2). From 1915 through 1997, the infant mortality rate declined greater than 90% to 7.2 per 1000 live births, and from 1900 through 1997, the maternal mortality rate declined almost 99% to less than 0.1 reported death per 1000 live births ... . ****Environmental interventions, improvements in nutrition, advances in clinical medicine, improvements in access to health care, improvements in surveillance and monitoring of disease, increases in education levels, and improvements in standards of living contributed to this remarkable decline (1).

"the state will not be allowed to bar a Catholic health clinic in Englewood from claiming that they can reverse medical abortions by giving patients a high dose of progesterone after their initial dose of mifepristone, a claim for which they have no proof. "

You Libs just don't understand science or medicine.

What's next? Are you going to complain about the same clinic promising to reverse abortions done with clothes hangers by shoving a drycleaner bag up a women's hoohaw?

That's just medicine! It's in the Bible people!!!!

Just wait until they get around to "legally" saving ectopic pregnancies, a pet peeve of theirs since the woman's body was stupid enough in each case to yeet the embryo into the wrong part of her body, a condition every RWNJ thinks can easily be fixed with a quick surgery which the women and their doctors are apparently too stubborn or stupid to meekly submit to, as they should. It's coming.

I think I've finally got it

The Ghastly Old Perverts are OK with sexual reproduction, because they haven't yet found the way to clone their magnificent masculine selves. So they can lower the age of "consent," as if that mattered with females, and then after their breeding stock reproduces, or attempts to, they can all die off, because the GOP "needs" will be met with the children they leave behind?

"Boy those conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care. No daycare, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare. Nothing. If you're pre-born, you're fine. If you're preschool, you're fucked. Conservatives don't give a shit about you until you reach 'military age'. Then they think you are just fine. Just what they've been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. Pro-life, pro-life, these people aren't pro-life, they are killing doctors! What kind of pro-life is that? What? They will do anything they can to save the fetus, but if it grows up to be a doctor, they just might have to kill it. They're not pro-life. You know what they are? They are anti-woman. Simple as it gets, they are anti-woman. They don't like them. They don't like women. They believe that a woman's primary role is to serve as a brood mare for the state." -- The Late Great George Carlin

People think that the Trumpista world wants to return the USA to the "simpler times" of the 1950's. Which may be true, except that Trumpworld means 1950 BCE.

"I’m only surprised there haven’t been more." There probably have been, but, there's no official mechanism to track those any more. The only way to find out about it is if it's reported privately by reporters.
