Uh yeah, NO. Hospitals aren't going to put themselves in a position to get sued for violating a national law to please a bunch of fundie yabbos.

This is completely wrong. Google Vanderbilt trans records.

Vanderbilt hospital gave the AG everything he asked for.

Other hospitals have done the same. More simply cave in than resist.

Bel-Ami's avatar

Just read that. I should think it would be illegal for the hospital to do so.

Paulomatic's avatar

It should be, but in reality isn't. Almost all hospital administrators are cowards.

The3 only way to REALLY BE SURE WHAT THESE WOMEN ARE UP TO is to assign a State-sponsored observer for all medical appointments involving women.

Obviously the observer will wear a bodycam so there's a complete record of the event, and then the Idaho Lege can either log in live or just watch the videos later, when they're, you know, alone, in their offices...

Aren't these the same people who were screaming (wrongly) about HIPAA when the COVID vaccines came out? Ya know, the people who called it HIPPA or HIPPO because they are morons?

Question: Do taxpayers pay for their health care? Does that give us rights to go over every medical record they have? I’m really interested. Proctologist exams and anything involving Viagra? Asking for a friend.

Idaho’s largest county has 12,723 residents?

Damn. How are they even a state?

This makes me so angry. The population of Brooklyn, NY is 2.577 million. We always weep and moan about these small rural states not getting representation. The ten states with the smallest populations, do not match the population of California, yet they control 20% of the Senate. Grrrr...

I had to look it up. Ada has over 500,000 residents. 12,723 is the number of ‘bortions, over 11 years.

They are all pieces of human shit and I wish I could move the hell away from this stinking pile of garbage state.

I too live in red state hellscape.

And am an old and thus can not move with employment.

I always think that - maybe - they pay taxes which go towards something good but, at the very least, they are biodegradable.

These religious hypocrite, regressive, brain-dead fuckers really have nothing better to do, huh? Why is this a priority? Just, beyond parody.

They want to sit at the cool fascist kid table with Florida and Texas, would be my guess.

Right, never let a bad idea get ahead of you.

"And if they ever let me out, I'm gonna really let it out

When I decided to wage holy war

It looked very much like staring at my bedroom floor

But, oh God, you're gonna get it

You'll be sorry that you messed with me

And I know I may not look like much

Just another screaming speck of dust

But, oh God, you're gonna get it

You'll be sorry that you messed with us..."

Since when did the Idaho Fash Caucus nominate themselves to be police, judge, jury, and (we assume) executioner? Fuck off, Taliban wannabes.

It seems like the GOP may have to go ahead and rescind HIPPA rights for women.

SunnyInWyoming's avatar

Umm HIPAA rights are already a bit murky for pregnant women, particularly if any suspected substance abuse is occurring. They are often at risk of reporting under child endangerment statutes.

Don't give them any ideas!

Never mind, I'm sure some of them have thought of this already.

OT. We have a meeting with our lawyers in 30 mins to draft our new will. I have been trying to learn so much about having a special needs child and how to plan things so that he doesnt lose his disability.

benefits. Thankfully we have 2 older daughters who we trust implicitly to take care of him. I also spent time researching human composting and am thrilled that the foremost company is based in Auburn ,WA.. Earth Funeral is just what I wanted . AS an avid gardener I can have my remains spread on my garden as compost. For $5,500. If I die when overseas they will ship my body back for no extra cost.

I'm assuming you have Estate Planning attorneys who know about how to arrange things for your son. A Special Needs Trust could be one way to go, but again, listen to your lawyers. If they don't do a lot of estate planning or estate administration, find ones who do.
