I used to modify and test C5M Avionics boxes. One of only two people in the country trained to do that (1 more, kicked up to management, never actually touched them.). But Honeywell laid off all jobbed-shopped employees whose last names started between A and N the day after Christmas of 2011. This ended up costing the taxpayers tens of millions and grounded a whole lot of C5M's.
