I'd think Harvard would go for the Aleister Crowley type magic, libertarian male-centric stuff. If you want that hippy dippy Granny Weatherwax stuff, you go out to Western MA or even Salem.
Hey, the kid could always go to Boston College, which is a Jesuit institution and she will get a fantastic education because the Jesuits are the smartest priests since all of them are encouraged to obtain graduate degrees. How do the Duffys feel about that?
I thought this was supposed to be about road trip vacations. Not their apprehension about children leaving their bubble for the real world. Sean knows about "The Real World"
I’d like to see a demographic analysis of the life-long political sensibilities of children raised by christofascist parents. I think the odds are a significant number will hate everything their parents believe in, if not actually hating their parents for trying to indoctrinate them. You do hear stories about, “I was raised by hippies who thought ALL PEOPLE HAD RIGHTS AND DESERVED A LIVING WAGE AND HEALTHCARE, so now I’m 100% Assmouth all the way!” But I think those stand out because they are so rare. I feel like the ones which go the other way are just everyday occurrences. Just one more reason the MAGA Kult is dying.
"The Duffys have nine kids. Statistically speaking, five of them are liberals. If we were Sean Duffy, we’d prepare for some disappointment" is the best thing I read all week.
Ya know, Sean, you wouldn’t have to manspread like that if your jeans weren’t tight enough to raise your blood pressure.
I used to be Catholic. And I find that I am still offended by these types giving Catholics a bad name. Which is amazing considering how gross the RCC has been since its inception.
Beyond kindergarten and first grade spent in a lovely public school I spent the rest of my primary and high school education in Catholic schools. I must've actually learned something because along with a couple of diplomas I also graduated as a democratic socialist.
"...Paloma, will turn into some sort of mind-controlled lesbian witch if she matriculates at Harvard..."
No. Harvard is the wrong place for that.
She will need to attend Smith College over in Northampton, Massachusetts. For added parental anxiety Paloma should try out for the Smith College Rugby Football Club who welcome everyone to join!
Harvard has lost every rugby game to Smith ever since Smith started playing Rugby back in 1969. The Harvard men just couldn't score at all.
"the woke Grand Guignol that is Harvard"
Oh, shit, the students are back next week. The Youths will be everywhere in Boston.
Besides, Harvard and Harvard Law are responsible for the likes of Tom Cotton, Fuck Ted Cruz, Elise Stefanik, and WhaleHead McBrainWorms, among others.
This kid will be just fine.

Remember he did this while being paid by US Taxpayers.
Maybe it’s being a male, I don’t see the joy of being pregnant most of your life. Is it a gender thing.

Yeah, they were never going to not allow their kid to go to goddam Harvard!
Gary deserves bonus pay for his suffering.

Or Georgetown in heathen Democratic DC, also Jesuit!
John Carroll graduate here.
She could share an alma mater with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez!
Boston College ≠ Boston University.
Oops!
Parents not understanding anything about the purpose and need for higher education is part of the reason their kids MUST attend college.
“Catholicism to us is everything.”
Sure, but what kind? Duffy be thinking, “American vacation? More like sedevacantism, amirite? You traditionalists know what I’m talking about.”
I thought this was supposed to be about road trip vacations. Not their apprehension about children leaving their bubble for the real world. Sean knows about "The Real World"
Nah, he only knows about reality television, which isn't about reality at all.

I'm so glad I graduated Phi Beta Goddammed Kappa from TrumpU.

This is Wellesley erasure.
