Only one thing: "Consumers"? Citizens? Taxpayers? Because gov't sanctioned murder isn't a product or service I want to purchase. If I refuse the terms and conditions, does it stop?

OMG those toilet paper bears! They are not only sexual, but mama bear carries toilet paper in her suitcase so her infant husband doesn't have a tantrum. Yikes.

"If killing anybody is a terrible crime

Why does this bloodthirsty chorus come 'round from time to time?"

Ta, Robyn. I support the death penalty NOT AT ALL. That said, if it's going to exist, why not use fentanyl? There are fentanyl overdoses every day; I know, I reversed one with naloxone (Narcan™). I've never thought fentanyl should be used outside a hospital setting, but if these states insist on killing in the name of ???, it would be far more reliable.

If you really think this is a societal good, then own it. Put them up against the wall, put a bullet in their head, and let us know the name of everyone involved, including the arms and ammunition manufacturers.

My state goobed up an execution by injecting a prisoner with potassium acetate instead of potassium chloride. Our schools aren't that great, but you don't need a lot of chemistry to know both words are important. Back then weed had been demonized for so long someone probably just read the "pot" part and thought "well hell yeah that'll kill ya". Anyway, now they want to do that nitrogen suffocation thing. Or maybe just press a pillow over the face until they stop kicking. Jesus won't care either way.

We were all relieved when they caught and convicted one of the killers in my college town. I thought I had lived in fear of that killer for years but they caught him pretty quickly, it turns out (when I looked him up today). But since he was only responsible for some of the murders and one of the other killers only finally got locked up recently, we DID live in fear for all of those years. One simply did not walk alone at night. You would be abducted, raped, murdered, and buried in a shallow grave. You always always had a macho escort. Always. And there was more than one killer on the loose!

Currently, the one they caught quickly is sitting on death row in CA, where they’re not executing anyone. Let him rot in isolation while he wonders if a murderific future governor will ever turn the electric chair back on.

Whatever it says about me, I never want that guy to relax as though he’s no longer on death row.

We do need to do a better about keeping people who murder other people locked up forever. The whole rehabilitation thing is too risky for people who murder people for fun.

I do not think prison should be the hell we weirdly often make it ,but I do think people who repeatedly rape and murder people should have to stay there forever.

The bathroom at the gas station is cleaner than the room in the pic.

All the fuss is absurd because people are not that hard to kill. They should just put a bin of oxy in the condemned cell and let nature take its course, it has worked for thousands.

The bears advertise Charmin which is a Procter & Gamble product. Koch Brothers own Georgia-Pacific paper which sells Angel Soft and Quilted Northern. I refuse to buy GP/Koch products and also avoid "store brands" because you never know who the chains would contract with. f'rinstance, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that an outfit like Wal-Mart would team-up with jerks like the Kochs. Here's a Charmin ad, note the P&G logo at the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU03x43pTT4

The guillotine? It was the standard method of execution up until 1949. Incidentally, under the Vichy regime, more people were guillotined than during 1793-94 Reign of Terror.
