Stockdale was more honest and I don't think he was a wingnut.

I've seen the analysis that Clinton is seen as an insider who can Get Shit Done for her constituencies, because she has no firm principles but will do any deal; as opposed to Bernie, who will be stonewalled by Congress as well as the administration if he tries to change anything. The theory is that minorities and others up at the sharp end of capitalism vote very strongly on What's In It For My Family rather than abstract principle. This of course flies in the face of the other analysis that people want outsiders who will light a fire under the establishment's ass. So I dunno.

After the wall fell, there used to be a thriving business near the Brandenburg gate in Berlin of people selling their old Soviet/Warsaw Pact medals and badges. When life gives you lemons...

I should have read this before I ordered my son's tee shirt. Hope it gets to him before the Wisconsin primary is all. April 5. Should be good.

OT, but still about Bernie, he won the all important Dixville Notch vote by 4-0. NH as a whole is too diverse and representative, we need an even whiter, more rural part of the primary to guide us. It must be important, because CNN reported it:

Some morning tea leaves about today's battle to the death for the last ticket out of New Hampshire...

<< Suddenly, despite the hype about Kasich’s strength, [Rubio's Super PAC is] moving to attack Jeb Bush. Is that because Team Marco thinks Kasich’s support is solid and outside their “lane,” meaning that attacking him won’t move votes to Rubio? Or is it because their internal polling shows that there really is a Bush surge happening and they need to tamp it down before Bush catches some momentum? The worst possible outcome for Rubio in New Hampshire is to finish behind Jeb, and the further behind he is the more damaging the result will be. What hope does Rubio have in South Carolina if he ends up fighting there just to split the center-right vote with Bush? >>

OK, you're probably not as invested in the psychodrama of Jeb's candidacy as I am. But if Jeb does make it to South Carolina, we'll get to see W. making a public campaign appearance for him. And won't it be nice to see our old friend again?

Just curious - are you prohibited from selling them (if someone asks if there are any left), or just from advertising them after tomorrow?

Some nice people in The Netherlands would also very much like to see him.

I just assumed he sees Bush as the weakest deer.

So, I keep seeing stuff about how Hillary is doing better with minority votes. I know Sanders had that weirdness with the BLM supporters who stole his mike at a rally and that didn't really make him look good, but is that why?

Or is it his supporters turning them off?

Or is it that Clinton just appeals to minorities better?

"Oh my God I’m so tired. We are never ever ever getting home."

Beer and lawyering on the campaign trail will do that to a girl (or anyone, really).

Alas my lack of a neck makes t-shirts uncomfortable unless they're v necked or wide necked. Regular t-shirts make me feel like I'm being strangled.
