In what any Very Serious Journalist would consider a disqualifying move that requires the Republican Party to abandon the race completely, Florida Gov. Rick Scott refused to debate his Democratic opponent, theformerRepublican andformergovernor of Florida Charlie Crist (because of course; it's Florida!), on Wednesday night. But he had a very good reason. As the debate's moderator, Eliott Rodriguez, explained to the audience:
I suspect that at least some of those areas are colored blue because there aren't that many people living there, so there are much fewer reports of lightning.
Crist didn't want to have to sit in his own stench, like Scott Walker did the other day.
The collective IQ in Florida north of Orange County is about 73. A fact I didn't fully appreciate until I moved to North Florida.
I remember watching those debates, or at least the first one anyway. JFK won hands down.

I thought that the Florida state motto was "Hold my beer and watch this!"
as always IOKIYAR
As an inmate of 321, I have no doubt that the Florduh Dems can come up with a novel way to spectacularly ruin any goodwill gained tonight.
Crist didn't want to have to sit in his own stench, like Scott Walker did the other day.
this is true. the Ohio Democratic Party is sucktacular.
Comb-over libel!
I expect he's getting a lot of blow-back.
Can't have a fan? In Florida? That's an actual rule?
This rabbit hole is certainly deep!!!
Don't overestimate the intelligence of Florida voters. The fact that skeletor was even competitive before this speaks volumes
Except Tricky Dick had Shweddy balls
And the fans go wild...
Charlie is gonna be busy
I sense that some political advisor for the Scott campaign will tomorrow have a sudden urge to "spend more time with his family".
