I hope it helps! Really, the main thing is to monitor your calories, and stick to foods that fulfill (i.e. make you feel full and/or satisfy your sweet tooth). Bread, of all things, is a problem: yes it is the staff of life and the most essential of foods, but those of us trying to take weight off can really do without the carbs.

I've found it maximally helpful to prepare 250 calorie portions of food, so that breakfast might be 500 calories of sausage, lunch might be 250 calories of Greek yogurt plus 250 calories of sausage, and dinner could be 250 calories of chicken paprikash and 250 calories of salad -- all measured out ahead of time and ready to reheat.

... wait, sausage? Chicken paprikash?? What sort of crazy talk is this? Well, sausage can be made from lean ground pork and spices, and chicken paprikash can be made really high protein / low calorie if you use fat-free sour cream and replace spaetzel with soy chunks (textured vegetable protein). I could elaborate with recipes and links if you like.

It's obvious to me. As long as it's a white man they don't care what he says or stands for, so they assume Liberals are like that for the folks that aren't white men. They really lack the imagination to have a clue how other people think.
