Joe is still perfectly able to articulate his thoughts without signs of confusion MAGA insists they can see, hear and smell. But he’s getting older by the minute. He’s getting into his mid 80s for Pete’s sake. If he’s slowing down it’s understandable. The current potus is too. But Biden has always been an iffy public speaker at times, which undermines his ability to defend himself. But what MAGA will never understand is, even if Biden is on some arc toward senility, it doesn’t mean he wasn’t capable in 2024, or 2023, or 2022. He will die someday, and they will scream, “see! He’s dead and he always was!!!”
I’ve worked on accepting that as a way to free myself from this loop of despair and stupidity. There is no reasoning this. There are simply far more stupid and misinformed people in this country than most of us realized. They want things the way they are. Senseless tariffs, wars in the Middle East, isolation from vital allies, stock market manipulation, tax breaks for the rich at the expense of social safety net programs they depend on…all ok as long as Trump says it’s all part of the plan to make stuff Great. Plus he’s rounding up brown skinned people and threatening Rosie O’Donnell. That’s what really matters.

This reminds me of my alcoholic drug-addicted psycho cousin who has now made multiple statements that I, on the day of my father's funeral, spontaneously invited him to go with me to Walmart, where we wandered around for 2 hours without me buying anything, but allegedly telling him I killed my boyfriend.
Yeah, right. Everyone goes to Walmart to confess alleged crimes to a psychopath on the day they bury their father. Sure, sure, it's right there in the funeral program: "Following the burial a reception will be held at Walmart where everyone will confess their alleged crimes."
I've hated this dude since I was 9 and he was 7 when he tried to kill my cat. I don't go to fucking Walmart with him for a 2-hour chat, not ever.
Oh heck no. My aunt spent her and my deceased uncle's entire life savings on various attorneys over the past 40 years to keep him out of jail and prison. Also, a lot of the local cops are his best drug customers, so they let him slide. When he tried to kill his mother (my aunt) in order to inherit her house, but only managed to put her in the hospital, he then went out and forged checks all over 3 counties and spent every penny that was in her checking account on himself, causing auto-pay utility and insurance bills to bounce. I filed forgery charges against him in multiple jurisdictions. The cops did NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. They didn't even request video from the stores where he forged checks. Apparently cops never actually do that...it's only on TV. Then, when she died from her injuries 6 months later, the police all said "Case closed because the victim is dead."
I'd binge watch all this and love it if this was a dark comedy/drama about a narcissist who cons enough people to vote him to be the president of the United States twice, and the ensuing shit show.
