Incredibly Slippery Luntz

After GOP pollster and image consultant Frank Luntz called a win for Kerry in last November's election, his reputation as a fatuous political strategist who sometimes got things right took a severe hit. In the wake of his spectacular Daily Show appearance earlier this week, however, it's clear that Luntz is back at the top of his game. Consider, for example, the ideological tummy-tucks he performed on phrases flung at him by Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee. Bee: "Drilling for oil." Luntz: "I would say responsible exploration for energy." Bee: "Logging." Luntz: "I would say healthy forests." It got us to wondering. How, exactly, would you luntz some truly tricky PR sells?
