As a non-provider health care worker in a FQHC, I have taken multiple trainings every year about protecting patient health information (PHI). ANYTHING that could be used to identify an individual, whether name, address, date of birth, driving license number, fucking ANYTHING, is prohibited from mention in emails, reports, etc. If I, an overworked and underpaid Care Coordinator for HIV positive adults, have to know this, so Indiana's legislators, health care providers, and anyone else with access to such information knows it is illegal release it to anyone if it contains identifying information. Such information can only be shared with those who are paying for the health care of the person in question. Throw the fucking book at them!
But who's going to pay the Doctor's legal expenses for this SLAPP lawsuit. How is she going to recover her reputation after his terrible insinuations? It's easy for him to say "Never mind." after the damages were done
