“I sure hope so?” That’s the answer a sitting congressman gives when asked if the sitting potus accepted bribes? Comer clearly doesn’t understand what he’s doing, or should be doing. If the facts show, over and over, that the potus refused to entangle himself in his son’s business of trading on his name, that’s heartening, and encouraging. Comer should be pleased. But he’s embarrassed, because he isn’t able to hurt the sitting potus. We have bad people and broken systems in place where our best people and functioning government should be.
Pathetic. Any respectable Congressman, democrat or republican, would answer “I sure hope NOT,” when asked if this means the sitting POTUS is compromised or accepted bribes. Biden didn’t. But this nepotism shit involving Hunter is all they’ve got. The fact that they hope the sitting POTUS IS compromised tells you all you need to know about the integrity of this “investigation.”
The Republican party has ceased to exist as a legitimate political/legislative/justice-seeking party. I'm not bitching or moaning- what I am doing is wondering what comes next?? They're not working, or co-operating, or creating new ideas-- I don't believe I've heard one of those folks say anything constructive, or even halfway sensible since, ummm...
