Ta, Robyn. I almost didn't comment because I like the number 222, but I do have something to say. My union -- SEIU-1199 -- has thus far failed to respond to me. However, we have an election on the 14th (different days at different facilities), and I intend to fuss. I've been owed back pay dating back to March 2021; finally got my raise on July 8th of '22. This has gone on way too long.

Glad to see Gwynne staying where she belongs.

Damn shame there isn't a second republican on the NLRB. Kinda like that situation in Wisconsin, where they're planning to impeach Protoseawitz (sp) but not try there, effectively making the Wisconsin Supreme Court a 3-3 court. As Frank Nitti would say, "Nice house, I say, nice house. You ought to make sure nothing happens to it.

Democratic Party of wisconsin is putting 4 million dollars in TV and digital ads how the repubs are trying to overthrow the will of the voters who elected Judge Janet fair and square.

This won't end well for the butt hurty repubs.

After the wisconsin judiciary disciplinary panel dismissed ethics violations against Judge Janet. That will weaken the effort for impeachment

Vos even said it will harder to impeach. But that lil cookie making prick will try.

Always on topic:

Peter Navarro, a senior Trump White House aide and vocal election denier who has said he helped hatch a legislative scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential race, was found guilty Thursday of contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Thanks, WaPo

MSNBC: Fucker Navarro convicted

Peter Navarro was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress in federal court in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

The former Trump White House adviser was charged after refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee. He refused to appear for a deposition and provide documents.

Ahead of trial, the federal judge overseeing the case rejected Navarro's claim that Trump had invoked executive privilege for him.

In one sense, the case was about "a guy who didn’t show up for his testimony," prosecutor John Crabb said during the trial. But in addition to being "that simple," it was also "that important," the prosecutor said, because we're "a nation of laws, and Mr. Navarro acted like he was above the law."

Each count of contempt of Congress carries a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of one year in jail, and a fine of up to $100,000.

He could've just pled guilty -- or better, not subjected himself to prosecution by obeying the subpoena. Instead he spends a million bucks on a doomed legal defense and has the temerity to whine about being persecuted. It's a good thing he has a sympathetic friend like Ron Vara who'll never abandon him.

I mean, the guy is begging the public for money. He says going to appeal will run north of a million. And for what, contempt of Congress? I mean, pick your battles, son.

OT. Because he got an advertisement.

Summary: Former Georgia Republican Party chairman David Shafer is furious and he's demanding a hearing before the judge in Fulton County. Because he got what might at worst be called Spam, but was really an automatic advert directed to attorneys on the list of the Wade & Campbell Firm.

Looks like we won't have to wait until March to see PO1135809 lose another case in court.

He lost an appeal and his fraud case in NY goes on Oct 2 of this year.

I dunno why he loves the law, and legal stuffs and cases and courts so much, as he never tried to be a lawyer.

I mean, I love justice being done and courtroom drama, and all as much as anyone. But it seems a lot of work for someone his age.

I just read a book or watch something on the tee vee box.
