My church in NJ started a Target boycott for Lent and we still have not bought anything from them! I will not do business with anyone who cares in to Trah and Co.😬😬😬😬😬😡😡😡😡

Target missed reading the room and its demographic. Minnesota based, lower cost products targetted at the victim demographic. They've been been screwing up ever since the next generation of little silverspoon trustees took over.
I'm NEVER going back. And it used to be my and my daughter's favorite little happy place. I have spent hundreds of frivolous dollars there. We went weekly. They have lost my trust and I have broken the spell with this hiatus. I just don't need it anymore. I now know my first mistake was ever believing a company cared about anything besides the bottom line. And since that's the case, I just won't be contributing to their bottom line ever again.
Target deserves every bit of this, their stores are run by a diverse group of people and their customers represent DEI at its best. Tough luck, Target. It's what you get for bowing to the racists.
Who could have guessed that the federal government forcing independent companies to reject diversity could have adverse consequences. It’s mind boggling that any thinking voter believed this hateful administration would return America to some glory days when everyone prospered and everyone was happy. There is zero joy or hope in Donald Trump. He’s only capable of harm. Everything he does causes businesses to lose money, customers and market value. Every day we learn of another university, or company, or media outlet, or judge who Trump intends to hurt. How is any of this destructive, self-inflicted chaos supposed to improve life in America or the world?
In January I sent an angry email to Target, to which I got a pretty bad “no no, we’re not dropping our commitment to diversity, we planned all this before and also we just want to stop saying diversity” email. Last week I sent a follow up email letting them know they could have me back as a customer if they publicly announced a recommitment to DEI and reinstated programs to stock products by minority owned businesses, that sort of thing.
My email box is a mess but so far as I can tell, they haven’t replied to that one.
I misunderstood what you wrote. I thought you wrote that you'd found alternatives to Target ON Amazon, instead of alternatives to both. I apologize for misunderstanding. What I wrote probably didn't make a lot of sense.
Curiosity may kill cats, but right now and for me, it’s a major driving force of life. I just have to know how this turns out. I wouldn’t make book on my fellow Americans coming to their senses, but rather how bad will it get?
Ta, Robyn. I never bought much at Target, apart from that hot minute when they were selling Loomstate (for Target) clothing. Their prices on a few items of organic produce were good, but I'd rather pay a little more elsewhere and not pay for hate and discrimination.
My town has a small Whole Foods store. I go there to buy milk - quart-size (it's almost impossible to find anything other than half gallons at the supermarket), cookies for my grandson, and the occasional bakery indulgence for myself. That's pretty much it. Their produce is meh. The supermarket where I do the bulk of my grocery shopping has much better produce.

I wish we had a Costco nearby.
I haven't shopped at Target in about a year.
A gay friend once said to me, "I'm going to Target to buy a lot of things I don't need."
I thought it was hysterical because I was doing the same thing. Not anymore, kidz.
Robyn, check out Primark for tights. Not as many options as Target but decent quality and unbelievably low prices

Do you have any workarounds for organic produce? I would love to say buh bye to whole foods.
