There's some crazy dissonance and pretty wild variations in the Shuman piece. If it was a good American version it would only be Godly major chords and maybe some banjos.

As a bassoonist I love the stories of how Stravinsky's opening bassoon solo in The Rites of Spring incited riots. As someone who has had to play the thing it made me want to riot, too.

so much this. The Gen Xers are a bigger problem than the boomers. And probably why they spend so much time trying to sow division between boomers and millenials.Sorry, my generation, we kinda suck ok

it is...not that I actually saw the movie, but DeNiro and Stiller reprised it on SNL last week as Mueller and Cohen.

I am a woman. I bought my pickup in 2010 to go to archaeology sites (NM back roads are--well--hypothetical). The salesman tried to talk me out of a standard transmission. I had to remind him who was buying the car.

If mine had a gun rack I would have put parasols in it. But it wasn't worth it to buy one for the snark.

I know I disappointed several of them when I was shopping. I have problem walking away if you also not meet my criteria. I said $15,000 or under. $15,000.25 is not under, goodbye.

The bonus was I paid $10K for a truck that Blue Booked for $21K.

As a Gen Xer, I feel the need to ask...Who raised us? Boomers, that's who. They were the ME Generation of the '70s and did all the drugs and whatnot. It was Robert Downey Sr who got his son hooked on drugs in the first place.
