The city of Lytton, British Columbia recorded the hottest temperature ever recorded in Canada on Sunday - 46.6 C (you'll have to do the conversion yourself - I only know metric). The Lower Mainland of B.C. has the same climate as the U.S.'s Pacific Northwest. So, that's bad.

115.88 F. We hit 42 C today where I'm at in the lower Mainland 107.6 FIt's almost 10 pm and still 31 C/ 87.8 F outside.

Had AC installed last Sept as a part of a furnace upgrade. Been living in the house the last few day's with our 4 cats and tommorow we could hit 44 :(
