It's not me -- but if anybody wants to write me a reference so I can go in and do Jonathan Weisman's job - of deputy editor of the Washington bureau, if you can believe it after you read what he did THIS week - because I'm at the point where I'm fairly confident I can do a better job blindfolded than he can with both eyes open and a whole office full of support, I will accept them with gratitude

One can see why the Trump Crime Family believes decriminalizing political corruption is a good thing...

Are too! Say all the people who ratioed Jonathan Weisman FOUR TIMES

I suspect Trump will use this in his rallies as a talking point that Dems are always corrupt.

There are, of course, many layers of dumb, and Jared rests comfortably beneath most of them, like a stack of blankets on a cold winter night. Nonetheless, i am confident that here, Jared is the fall guy for a horrible idea initiated by Trump's affinity for all things corrupt. Perhaps his hospital visits to Dayton and El Paso triggered the inklings of something akin to sympathy in him and he discharged the unfamiliar emotion in the manner most true to his nature; by helping a fellow crook.

When I heard of this story I assumed it was because he’s assuming the next president would do the same for him when charged with similar crimes

But of course not. That’s way too self aware. Trump isn’t going to let there be a next president while he’s alive and he never thinks he’s going to face consequences for anything.

Of course it was because hot rod was on the fucking apprentice

Of course.

Okay, so this is the next thing he decided to do - and he thought it would be a good ideahttps://twitter.com/rgay/st...

This was the next thing Jonathan Weisman decided to do, y'allhttps://twitter.com/rgay/st...

Can I have his job now? Asking for the third time in two weeks, and I didn't even count the times he insulted the Midwest Congresswomen the first time, or Congressman Ellison.

So, as a thought experiment I decided to once again compare the number of Trump's and Obama's Twitter followers. (I am a petty person and it makes me feel good, okay?) SPOILER: Obama STILL has twice as many as The Resident. But then I noticed something odd...Obama has good Twitter etiquette and also follows many people on Twitter but Trump (who has no etiquette at all ever) just follows a very special few...He follows the Trump Organization and his US golf courses and a couple of Trump hotels. He follows his wife and DJTJ and Eric and Lara and Vanessa (DJTJ's ex) and Tiffany. He follows some Fox News hosts and Opinionators (but not all of them, Katie!) And he follows four people he met on the Apprentice (including his producer), one golfing buddy, and his old WWE boss. In government, he follows a handful of his WH staff and some of his current and former campaign staffers. HE HAS NO FRIENDS. So maybe he just needed a sympathetic ear to listen to his late night phone rages and didn't want to have to pay former Apprentice failjob and convicted felon BLAG'S collect call fees from JAIL.

Sure Pres. Mafia Don believes the FBI treated him so unfair because they want to enforce laws and throw crime doers in prison. Bye ass!

They should’ve locked his punk ass up the minute he said we should move the capital to Chicago. Not that Springfield is so great, but we shouldn’t make major alterations to our state because the new governor’s daughter likes her high school. Also I’m from south central Illinois, it’s our job to hate on Chicago, even when we come to visit.
