I'll defer to Louis CK who described the top of the ticket as a "Lying Sack of Shit". Seems that would also apply to the VP candidate on the ticket as well.

To hear that can of Spam with eyes whining about the absolute shit storm he has unleashed calling it a "meme" is fucking outrageous. That's son of a bitch. Shools closed! Hospitals closed! First responders and police stretched thin! Lost wages! Death threats! Racism! Paving the way for some goddamn incel to go off murdering people! What the effing eff??

Vance makes a public claim on live TV that Republicans are creating stories to rile up their base and his base is still drinking the Kool Aid. The normal people have to show up at the polls this year like never before. We need a blue tsunami that will flush all of this MAGA stupidity out to sea for good. Hopefully after this year, there won't be any weirdos left on the ballot to choose from.

There is almost nothing I want to say about JayDee that wouldn't run afoul of the commenting rules, so I'll just resort to the standby: Fuck that guy, and even though I don't really believe it'll happen, I hope karma kicks his ass so hard his buttocks end up on his head.

A legal expert has noted that Trump's "offhand" remarks that he isn't going to sell his stock in Truth Social, at a minimum paints Trump into a corner with respect to the stock. But more realistically, given Trump's unique synthesis of monumental mendacity, stupidity, and venality, those public remarks on his intent with respect to the stock will leave him, and even the Truth Social Board Members, liable for crushing civil damages if, in fact he does sell and the stock price falls. There are ruthless, effective law firms for which collecting enormous civil damages from exactly this type of securities price manipulation and malfeasance is their raison d'etre. And I, for one, will be here for it. The only unfortunate thing is that they might be able to collect a fraction of the losses incurred by the investors.

I figured "They're eating the cats" would be the meme of the week, but everyone seems to have latched onto "concepts of a plan" as the funniest dumb shit thing he said during the debate.

Donald Chump golfs, does rallies, and calls into friendly media outlets who accept everything he says as gospel.

JD Vance does the heavy slogging through the rest of the media, who all decided he lacks the Chump magic that prevents them from pushing back and asking followup questions. He be pissed.

Sure glad I'm not Usha and the kids. Everything that comes across on the screen screams that he's a guy who takes his frustrations out on others.

If the only way JD can promote the problem of unaffordable healthcare is by lying about Haitians eating pets, then he has no business in government.

Watched a video wherein a small manufacturing business owner in Springfield said he'd like MORE Haitians, please. They come to work, show up on time, do their jobs well, and aren't alcoholics or strung out on opioids.

Well, of course Republicans are going to be offended by people acting THAT un-American!

I'm getting pretty fucking tired of all this "flailing and fumbling" framing on this issue. Haw haw haw, Trump blurted about Haitians eating dogs and cats, he must be senile!

People, we have all seen how Trump behaves when he blurts out something that he realizes was stupid and damaging. There are denials involved, gaslighting, "fake news!" cries, grudging attempts to walk it back without ever admitting any kind of wrongdoing or factual errors, etc. Is Trump doing any of this, or is he just going HARDER at it?

We've all seen how elected Republicans behave when Trump says something amazingly stupid and damaging. True, the extremely online MAGA troll contingent could care less, but everyone who is not in an R+30 district either begrudgingly and halfheartedly tries to defend Trump or distance themselves from the issue. They do not use the House Judiciary Committee's official account to tweet cat memes for days on end.

This is not a hilarious "bungle." It is deliberate messaging. Whatever we think, THEY think this shit will put Trump in the White House. And I'm pretty sure they know that it's not gonna happen because it wins them votes.

So how DO they think this hate propaganda is gonna get them into power? Which, again, professional elected Republican politicians clearly believe is a viable strategy and are going all in on.

Simple...because it worked in 2016. Seriously. When Kamala became the Democratic nominee, the campaign absolutely reverted to vs. Hillary 2016, but with a lil racism thrown in there for good measure

I think they’re trying to imitate the Fraktur typeface, for that nazi vibe (really it’s a pre-wwii German vibe, but to most people in North America nowadays that’s the same thing).
