Senator Jeff Flake gave a real barn-burner of a speech yesterday to the graduating class of Harvard Law School. Now that he's safely leaving the Senate and moving back to Arizona, he's sure gotten brave in attacking the politics his party has pursued ever since Ronald Reagan spent his entire presidency recycling the funny joke, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'" Now that we have the kakistocracy Republicans have been yearning for, after decades of calls to shrink government to the size you can drown it in a bathtub, attacks on "unelected federal judges," and pandering to folks who think the tree of liberty needs to be refreshed with the blood of tyrants, Flake wants to know just how all this happened.
So, judging by his voting record, Flake is fine with everything Trump does, he's just not happy with him saying the quiet parts out loud. Well, fuck you and the horse you and your party rode in on.
HKS is super paranoid about being perceived as "liberal" so they bend over backwards to make sure there are equal numbers of conservatives/republicans on the faculty, invited to speak, or as Fellows. But Jesus, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I read that Sean Spicer, Corey Lewandowski, AND that slime ball Jason Chaffetz were all IOP Fellows this past year. Being an IOP fellow had a certain gravitas. Honoring these low lifes? Why? consigning them to "where are they now file" would have been a better choice.
He does, just not as an obvious GOP Trump fellator.
I'm sure he'll be back under the hilariously inadequate camouflage flag of the 'independent' in some capacity, like an idiot driving a freshly stolen police cruiser around thinks he wont be spotted if he has it sprayed pink.
UGH, CAN HE SHUT THE FUCK UP & GO AWAY NOW. When Kaepernick first started his protests, Obama participated in some discussion forum with members of the military; obviously, the hot button issue was if Kaepernick was disrespectful, blah blah, we ALL know the accusations by now. Lovely Obama said that defending democracy is MOST IMPORTANT when it's hard. When someone is utilizing the principles of democracy in a way that is their RIGHT, but not about something with which you agree. I love how idiots like Flake retread Obama's comments & NEVER give attribution to the man they tried to delegitimize.

As I said just the other day: there.is.no.bottom.
What else do you expect from Dump's bedtime story teller?
He's supposed to be the voiceover for our local transit system. Which I was kinda looking forward to.

Yeah. They might get Adam Sandler to do it now.
Could be a good time to change towns.
define "bottom". we have reached the "bottom", but the bottom is putrid muck and it gonna take awhile to get through this oozing, sucking shit
So, boilerplate establishment republican then.

Maybe he still uses the word conservative?
You misspelled 'centrist cosplayers'.
I'm not wearning my eyeballs as thimbles, so no, probably not.
