I'm glad Trump has never visited UC Santa Barbara. When first built, there was an office of architects that kept a uniform look to the new campus buildings, which all ended up mid-20tth-century cinderblock. The architects were let go around the early 80's and now every building is unique and weird, and nothing matches anything else. You've got your building made of mid-century cinderblock, next to something that looks like a silicon valley industrial building, next to something out of Disney World, next to goddess only knows what the hell that thing is modeled on. But the beach is nice.
