But I'm still waiting for Obama's white vans to pull up in front of my house and take my 'collection' (all 3 of them - rural farmer's protection). My right wing (former) friend assured me that was going to happen during his presidency. She sent me email pics and all! Yet, I'm still waiting....

I have a sneaking hunch that Alito will disregard 14th century history (and the long bow) on this issue.

You can thank the Greens and of course the Republicans. Again. Not the Dems for the end of the Assault Weapons Ban. I would like to see more guns taken.

Clinton passed the Assault Weapons Ban in the much-hated 96 Crime Bill. Because positive things under WJC violated the "OMG We Hate Her" Clinton Rules of 2016, this was never mentioned. You may have instead seen pictures of her with mean words written on them, as if photoshop is the ultimate judge of truth, and thus know nothing of this highly consequential ban nor the numerous liberal programs that were part of the bill negotiated with Newt.

The thing about that Ban, and other policies that work, if that we do not know who did not die. We do not know who has not developed cancer because of environmental rules.

But we know that those weapons were banned and mass killings decreased. And no one expired from not having one of those ridiculous weapons.

That's the modest gun reform law that was able to get some Republican votes last summer, following the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas...

One of those Republican votes was from the guy who represents Uvalde in Congress. In response, the Texas Republican Party censured him. How nice of them to take time off from their busy days of protecting children against drag queens and CRT to make sure that the next school shooter will have as little trouble as possible getting his murder weapon.
