Joe Scarborough is trying to do the right thing. He is trying to get Barack Obama to hire more women. That is good! GOOD FOR YOU JOE SCARBOROUGH. (It is also somewhat akin to the Republican mouthpieces foaming that Chuck Hagel is too mean to gays, but baby steps.) Unfortunately, then Mika calls him a chauvinist, and he tries to make the point about how not-chauvinist he is by yelling over all the women, and snapping his fingers in their faces. This is ... problematic.
I'm pretty sure chauvinism is a learned attitude. It also seems to me that it would be very hard to choose to support the GOP if one didn't think women were undeserving of the rights enjoyed by men.
More importantly, demonstrating that they have no idea that the accusations levelled against them aren't the mindless name-flinging of the sort in which Republicans are constantly engaged.
Plus he basically admitted that he didn't know and/or couldn't think of any qualified women himself, resulting in him having to turn to the binders.
And the composition of his entire administration (not just cabinet-level positions) became steadily more male-dominated throughout his term.
Also the women he did appoint to his cabinet, almost all were appointed to departments he planned to ignore.
I get the feeling Mika's been waiting to say that for a loooooooooong time. Any time I've accidentally watched any of Morning Schmo, he's always been treating her appallingly, the man oozes misogyny from every pore.
Good for her for laughing in his face when he snapped his fingers.
Subtle distinction there. On a Venn diagram, the overlap is damned near perfect.
I can squint 'til my face hurts, but she still looks good to me.

You say that as if the two are exclusive.
Why don't I see any sammich making happening? WHY?!!
You forgot "wanker". Otherwise, nice work.
Only vaginal interns.
I don't believe I've ever heard John Kerry described as "a hottie" before, and doubt I will again...

Respect Valerie Jarrett's "3" or she will light up your behind from downtown, also.

Is this some kind of pegging reference?

I'm finding this thread easy to post up on.
Exactly!
A Wizard? Surely it's a Jayhawk...
Per Wonkette regulations, this is where I go, "something something MAKE ME A SAMMICH!" right?
