John McCain's Ghost An Ingrate: Donald Trump
President Dangerfield gets no respect, yet again.
Donald Trump used the occasion of a speech at a tank factory in Ohio (which is busy creating jobs by building additional M1 battle tanks the Army didn't want ) to call Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" again, as one does when discussing military readiness and pork-barrel spending. And while he was at it, he also took the chance to tell the crowd how much he still hates one veteran in particular, even though that veteran happens to be dead.

America loves Trump, and real America DOES NOT LIKE John McCain. In fact, as Trump says. "So I have to be honest, I've never liked him much, hasn't been for me. I've really, probably, never will." You know, the fake dossier and the healthcare vote. Guess John McCain, who died last year, better not get any illusions about getting on Trump's good side.
And then Trump moved on to what a big ingrate McCain was after he died. not even after the very nice funeral Trump was not invited to attend, but which he says he "had to" authorize:
I endorsed him, at his request, and I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president I had to approve. I don't care about this. I didn't get "thank you." That's okay. We sent him on the way, but I wasn't a fan of John McCain.
Shame on John McCain's inconsiderate shade (or sure, his family). And to think Trump would be so disrespected after how very nice he'd been the whole time, lowering flags to half staff -- but only after everyone pointed out he was being an asshole about it.
Stay classy, America! It is now your Open Thread!
